In India, many people grapples with a lack of emergency savings. This can lead to financial stress and difficulty managing unexpected expenses. To address this, I worked on a personal project to design and explore the potential impact of a "Saving Goals" feature within a mobile banking app.This feature aims to empower users to set aside money for unforeseen circumstances, such as medical emergencies or sudden loss of income. The saved funds would be readily accessible for withdrawal whenever needed. Additionally, the feature would offer customisation options and the ability to pause contributions, providing users with flexibility to adapt to changing financial situations. Beyond emergencies, "Saving Goals" could also be used to plan and save for desired purchases or future goals, building responsible financial habits among users.
